Continue to make dua it is good for you and your mother. Make the dua that Allah keeps her alive as long as it is good for her. Sickness and pain allow our sins to be forgiven. Thereās so much to say here. Not all duas will be granted because Allah is wiser than us and does what he wills. But Allah still hears your dua.
To cut a long story short: the biggest favors will be bestowed in the after life. This Hadith explains it well: Narrated Anas that Allah's Messenger (pbuh) said: One of the most miserable people in the world will be brought from among the people of Paradise. Allah will say (to the angels): Dip him once in Paradise.
